Course Course Entry Requirements Sunshine College of Management Entry Requirements
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery Additional entry requirements for International Students:
  1. Successful completion of Year 11 or the equivalent level of study.
  2. Minimum English level of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
  3. Applicant must also be aged 18 years or above.
 To ensure an appropriate learning opportunity, participants would need to demonstrate a capacity to undertake study at Certificate III level, this can be demonstrated via the following:
  • Achieve a minimum of 75%-85% in SCM’s Determining Suitability Assessment (DSA).
  • Applicants must also be aged 18 years or above.
For direct entry into Certificate III in Commercial Cookery without additional support, the student must achieve a minimum of 85% and 90% in SCM’s DSA. For direct entry into Certificate III in Commercial Cookery with additional support, the student must achieve a minimum of 75%-85% in SCM’s DSA.
Certificate IV in Kitchen Management Additional entry requirements for International Students:
  1. Successful completion of Year 11 or the equivalent level of study.
  2. Minimum English level of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
  3. Applicant must also be aged 18 years or above.
 To ensure an appropriate learning opportunity, participants would need to demonstrate a capacity to undertake study at Certificate IV level, this can be demonstrated via the following:
  • Achieve a minimum of 75%-85% in SCM’s Determining Suitability Assessment (DSA).

Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management Additional entry requirements for International Students:
  1. Successful completion of Year 11 or the equivalent level of study.
  2. Minimum English level of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
  3. Applicant must also be aged 18 years or above.
 To ensure an appropriate learning opportunity, participants would need to demonstrate a capacity to undertake study at Advanced Diploma level, this can be demonstrated via the following:
  • Achieve a minimum of 75%-85% in SCM’s Determining Suitability Assessment (DSA).
  • Applicants must also be aged 18 years or above.
For direct entry into Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management without additional support, the student must achieve a minimum of 85% and 90% in SCM’s DSA. For direct entry into Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management with additional support, the student must achieve a minimum of 75%-85% in SCM’s DSA.
